SureCav removes the need for backing blocks

It is made from 100% recycled plastic at 1/6th the carbon footprint of concrete blocks!

SureCav avoids building an additional block construction wall which could require up to 40 tonnes of blocks, as shown on the right. The equivalent wall area of SureCav panels, that would use this many blocks, will easily fit into a pick-up truck.

SureCav is light to handle and makes it much easier for site storage and loading out.

Building with stone using SureCav

General installation notes:

• Standard DPC or tray installed 150mm min. above ground level
• SureCav panels can also be fitted below DPC if required for support for the construction of the stone, flint or other masonry
• Trim the SureCav panels horizontally to meet up to the DPC/Tray and continue the sheet above of the tray to match the block coursing
• Install weep/air vents as required by the BBA
• Wall-ties (not supplied by SureCav) should meet standards approved by local authority, structural engineer and/or architect

SureCav25 can create extra internal space

A reduction in wall thickness of 25mm will increase the internal dimensions of the property by
50mm in each direction and result in an average of 1.6% increased floor space over two

Consider this: with just a 1.25% gain, this is equivalent to the floor space of 1 extra house on an 70 house site!

• More room for insulation, helping to lower U values. Meet the new 2022 building regulations for walls by using SureCav25, which allows more insulation in a designed 100mm overall cavity For example, with SureCav25 and 75mm a rigid board insulation, you can achieve U-Values as low as 0.18W/m2K
• Ensures completely clean cavities As seen with the image, residual cavities formed  by the SureCav panel will prevent any mortar contaminating the wall ties
• SureCav is designed to prevent saturated stone, caused by wind driven rain, from traversing the cavity. The 'wall of plastic' formed by the sheets provides a barrier that will protect the fabric of the building. Combined with cavity ventilation, the cavity will remain free from moisture
