Rainscreen protection against wind-driven rain
The UK’s construction industry is calling out for builds that are protected against the harsh climates and water ingress/moisture issues and this is exactly what SureCav offers you!
SureCav not only ensures a clear cavity is maintained but it provides an added layer of rainscreen protection against wind-driven rain.
SureCav25 & 50 are both BBA approved for use in all exposure zones right across the UK. No matter if you are in a high severe zone you can have the peace of mind your build is protected by SureCav!
One of the biggest issue’s the UK building industry is facing currently is water ingress and moisture problems. SureCav eliminates this by guaranteeing a clear, dry, vented cavity. SureCav stops any risk of moisture issues from wind-driven rain. Cavity bridging is caused when the mortar squeeze drops into the cavity and contaminates the cavity. This causes homeowners no end of problems and worries. Eliminate it by doing it right, installing SureCav from the start.
The SureCav sheets, joined together with the SureCav H channel Joiners, forms a “wall” of protection against wind-driven rain. When used with timber frame, our watertight seal washers ensure that this barrier is not compromised.

Keeping a clear, dry, vented cavity
SureCav ensures that a dry, clear, vented air gap is maintained which is essential to keeping away moisture issues.
Eliminating any risk of moisture issues, cavity bridging and interstitial condensation.
SureCav creates a vented cavity, with a ventilation requirement of 1500mm2 per linear meter. This eliminates any risk of any interstitial condensation building up inside your build.
The ventilation can easily be achieved using our SureCav Type W vents, available from stock and our extender’s if required. Installed at every 0.5m, at DPC and soffit level. Extenders are required for outer leaf’s that are over 100mm wide to ensure that clear air if getting to the void created, by the SureCav.
In the unlikely case any moisture should get through, the unique design of the SureCav pods directs any moisture to the outer leaf protecting the fabric of the building once again.
SureCav’s unique backing board system ensures that no matter the workmanship, no mortar or debris can get into the cavity, eliminating any potential risk and cost of water ingress and moisture issues, caused by cavity bridging.
