Fantastic news! SureCav have reached the National Building & Construction Awards Final!
Simply reaching the finals is an incredible achievement which reflects the commitment and hard work we have put in! SureCav Limited is pleased to announce that they have won the won the “Best Newcomer” award in a category of over 250 entries. This was one of the top 3 awards available at the Planet Mark awards held on the19th January 2023.
The awards presentation was held in the Royal Institution of Great Britain, London. Planet mark certify businesses on their road to net zero and to date, have more 800 members in total. Planet Mark had a record 250 new businesses join this year, so to win this category is a great achievement for SureCav Limited!
This award recognises a company who has achieved inspiring results in their first year of Planet Mark certification.
Winner: SureCav Limited for a well-demonstrated culture of innovation that is going a long way in ensuring a positive impact on the environment and people’s lives. SureCav aims to be a sustainable solution to build. Its 100% recycled plastic cavity spacer system was designed to eliminate the need for concrete backing blocks behind stone. SureCav is committed to reducing the CO2 in the construction industry and feels proud that we have been selected to be one of the seven finalists. The national building and construction awards are due to announce the winners in November 2022 at their ceremony evening at the London Hilton Wembley on the 17th November 2022.
The finals in themselves are a great achievement but we hope to push on further from here and make a real impact to the CO2 reduction across the construction industry.

The national building and construction awards are due to announce the winners in November 2022 at their ceremony evening at the London Hilton Wembley on the 17th November 2022.
SureCav has been recognised for its innovation in developing products that meet the demands for construction in the 21st Century. As building regulations become more stringent in demanding lower U-Values, SureCav25 steps up with a product that makes room in the cavity for more insulation. With a designed 100mm overall cavity, SureCav25 allows U-Values as low as 0.18W/m2K with 75mm insulation. Even with brick external finishes, a 300mm overall wall width can be maintained!
